From Fall to Winter: The Jackets You Need This Season

The leaves are turning, the mornings are getting crisp, and winter is only a few weeks away. This is the moment to get your jacket wardrobe ready, before the first real cold snap catches you off guard.

Early fall is all about light layers. A bomber, a quilted jacket or a lightweight shell is perfect for cool mornings and mild afternoons. Wear it over a t-shirt or a thin knit and you can handle anything from a September patio to an October hike.

As October turns into November, temperatures drop and the rain and first snow arrive. This is where a warmer mid-season jacket earns its place. Think of a padded jacket or a water-resistant coat with a light lining. It keeps you comfortable on grey, windy days without feeling heavy.

Then comes winter. From December on, most of Canada needs a proper parka or long puffer with serious insulation, a warm hood and wind protection. Buying it now, instead of in the middle of the first storm, means you get the size and colour you want before stock runs low.

The smartest approach is to build a small rotation: one light jacket for fall, one warmer piece for the in-between weeks, and one heavy jacket for deep winter. Keep the colours versatile, like black, navy, olive or charcoal, and every jacket will match what you already own.

Our new season collection is here, with jackets for every step from fall to winter. Take a look, find your favourites, and be ready for whatever the weather brings. Need help choosing? Send us a message and we'll gladly advise you.
